Prerequisite: C grade or better in BMS 110 and 111 or BIO 121. A survey of genetic principles in humans with emphasis on molecular genetics and human genetic abnormalities causing diseases and behavioral changes. A portion of the course requires students to research, report on, and discuss current topics in human genetics. Cannot receive credit for both BMS 230 and BMS 231. 3(3-0) F,S
