Prerequisite: 12 hours. General Education Course (Focus on Public Issues). Sociological perspectives on contemporary social issues and problems in American society that are faced by today's communities. A public sociology focus is addressed in this course. This general education course will allow students to recognize the importance of contributing their knowledge and experiences to help resolve social problems in their own community and the broader society. 3(3-0) F,S
