CSD 380 - Development, Diversity, and Deafness |
Includes prevalence, terminology and the effects of hearing loss and its management on child development. Comprehensive scope of communication options will be explored. Exceptionalities, including cultural and linguistic differences among individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing will be considered within the context of family and development, both educationally and socially. May be taught concurrently with CSD 685. Cannot receive credit for both CSD 380 and CSD 685. 3(3-0) F,S
