EDC 345 - Introduction to Multicultural Education and Diversity
Prerequisite: EDC 150 or SEC 302 or CFD 260 or ELE 302 or SPE 310 or KIN 200 or MUS 200 or concurrent enrollment. An introduction to cultural issues, diversity, and related perspectives in education. Examination of individual differences in ethnicity, race, socioeconomic status, gender, exceptionalities, language, religion, sexual orientation, and geographic area in the context of education and society.
