ELE 438 - Methods of Teaching Social Studies in Elementary Schools
Prerequisite: a grade of "B" or better in ELE 410 and RDG 420 and RDG 421; and a grade of "C" or better in HST 121 or HST 122 and PLS 101 and GRY 100; and admitted to Teacher Education Program. Emphasis upon teaching social studies, skills generalizations, attitudes, and values and the development and use of appropriate learning materials and evaluation instruments for elementary and middle school programs. 3(3-0) F,S
