The processes of both first and second language acquisition, with an emphasis on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and bilingualism. Includes the theory behind and history of TESOL methodologies, as well as contemporary theoretical issues in TESOL. May be taught concurrently with ENG 595.
