Taught online. Prerequisite: admitted to Teacher Education Program. Provides an overview of characteristics and identification criteria for individuals with disabilities and gifted. Legislation and process pertaining to special education will be addressed along with a focus on teaching individuals with diversity in the elementary, middle, and secondary educational setting.
